Article 1 "Bungee" in the Requirements refers to the recreation facilities that tourists or their ride devices generate bouncing motion by depending on the expansion and retraction of elastic rope or other elastic parts, including high-altitude bungee and ejection bungee.
Article 2 The design, manufacture, installation, application, inspection, maintenance and transformation of bungee must meet those specified in the Requirements.
Article 3 The bungee designed and manufactured overseas and installed and used in China must meet those specified in the Requirements.
Chapter II Design, Manufacture and Installation
Article 4 For the bungee with the height of newly-built or rebuilt tower (jumping stand) greater than 20m or the operating altitude greater than 10m, it must pass the design review carried out by the supervision & inspection organization of recreation facilities authorized by the Bureau of Safety Supervision of Special Equipment of AQSIQ (hereinafter referred to as National Bureau of Safety Supervision of Special Equipment) and obtain the relevant qualification certificate and then may be put into formal manufacturing and installation.
Article 5 The foundation and tower (jumping stand) structure of bungee shall be designed and constructed by commissioning unit with corresponding qualification and shall comply with the requirements of relevant technical regulation and standards; construction record shall be made and various test reports shall be collected and kept for acceptance by relevant departments.
